Note from Sundara...a lovely customer sent me a photo of some flowers she grew this summer with a request for me to dye some aran silky merino for her, because, despite them being summer flowers, she felt the color lent itself particularly well to a winter shawl. I agreed and found the lighter shades of this photo to be pretty close to what she was wanting. Hopefully.
It's a dark magenta-y color that could almost be considered wine. Maybe more of a sangria color, but it definitely goes pink rather than burgundy, but it has that same depth and richness of wine. It's gorgeous and if I'd dyed more, I might keep some for myself. But because there is only one batch available, I'll be generous and let you all have it.
Just one batch available.
