Note from Sundara...I rarely regret the fact that I can't wear purple, but this color is making me wish I could because MY GOD it is pretty. I mean look at that purple. It's the full range. And it sparkles! And who doesn't want to think of Paris right now? The Eiffel tower? Croissants? Maybe a beret? You could even knit yourself a purple sparkly beret if you were so inclined and sit at home in quarantine feeling all Parisienne. It would be the greatest beret, ever. If you do, send me photos so I can live vicariously through you.

7 stitches per inch on US 3/3.25mm needles.
Gently hand wash in tepid water for project longevity.

Visit product page →Note from Sundara...I have a thing for photos with moody teal backgrounds, and well, I could not pass up this color combination. I mean look at it! Dark wine-y burgundy with teal fog. Amazing.
I'd knit a sweater out of this myself, if I could wear these colors. I can't, so someone knit themselves a sweater and send me photos so I can live vicariously through you. It's sport weight, so a light summer sweater would be divine, despite the autumn-ish color inspiration. Or you know, if you're not ready to face summer sweaters, you could go for a heavier gauge squishy shawl. I always like sport weight for shawls. Knits up faster. Regardless of what you decide, the color combination has so much going on that it will be a fascinating knit.

Visit product page →Note from Sundara...My aunt in London––who I always feel the need to clarify is a few years younger than me, wears a lot of black leather, makes chunky silver jewelry, and is way cooler than I'll ever be, so you know, not your typical auntie if you're a middle-aged white lady who dyes yarn for a living––has been sending me videos of fields of crocuses that her dog has been frolicking in, and I'm SUPER JEALOUS. Because we have ONE flower blossoming and got hit with some sort of ice storm last night. I think spring is never going to come.
So we will live vicariously through yarn. I couldn't find anything warmer, happier, and more sunshine-ier than this inspiration photo. The yarn is pretty much sunshine in a skein. And it's fluffy and silky. I'm not sure what more to say. Buy it. Knit yourself some sunshine.
