THREE SKEINS OF THIS COLOR WEREN'T TIED PROPERLY BY THE MILL, SO ENDED UP A LITTLE TANGLED. I'M SELLING THEM FOR $5 OFF, AS THE COLOR IS SO PRETTY, I DON'T WANT TO WASTE THE SKEINS. So if you are one of those people who doesn't mind untangling yarn, this is a total bargain!
Note from Sundara...I have been wanting to dye a "true" sage green yarn for probably a decade, but the color I had in my mind has always eluded me. I've gotten close a few times, but today, I finally feel like I have dyed it.
Obviously, this photo has nothing to do with sage green, but there aren't any inspiring photos of sage and this photo seemed to capture the greys and greens I had in my mind.
The color is a shiny mix of grey and sage and the color is quite ephemeral...just when you think you know what it is, the light changes and so does the yarn. It's breathtaking. Sadly, I didn't write down how I dyed this color, so there are only few batches available and it will probably take me another decade to create this color again.
