Sunset in Amsterdam

Note from Sundara...There are a zillion really gorgeous patterns that call for a trio of colors and this inspiration photo seemed perfect for a trio. I'm a fan of a dark, light, and contrasting color combination. I think it is one of those overlooked combinations that ends up being highly sophisticated. This trio has just enough differences between the dark and light skeins to be interesting and the sunset color is phenomenal in all the shades and hues I managed to cram in one little skein.

As for projects, "Color Affection" by Veera Valimaki is the most popular and if you haven't knit it already, this trio is perfect for that shawl. "Teroldego" by Caitlin Hunter is one of those asymmetrical triangles that mixes garter with lace but also colorwork and bobbles, if you are up for something a little more challenging. One of my favorites that is as been on my To Be Knit list for a while is "Shake It Up" by Anna Johanna. It's got a few tassels and I'm a sucker for tassels. All of these projects need 1 set of yarn.
