Note from Sundara...Believe it or not, this color has been at least three years coming. I dyed an Odds & Ends color similar to that long ago, and it has haunted me ever since. It sold super fast, so I wanted to dye something similar, but for some reason, this particular combination completely eluded me. It shouldn't have, but it did. Then a few weeks ago, one of the lovely customers who bought some of that color asked me what she should knit with it, and I decided to finally conquer the color. I found the perfect inspiration photo and finally, FINALLY, I did it. Yay me. I only sort of no longer feel like a failure as a yarn dyer, because really. I should have been able to do this ages ago.

But let's ignore that and get back to what I suggested the lovely customer could knit with it, because that was where it got interesting. What does one knit with this amazing combination of sea glass aqua and blue that is so light-filled as to be almost transparent?

I had to suggest the Wavelet Sweater by Valentina Bogdanova because of the obvious ocean theme. Come on? How could I not. Plus, it's gorgeous. Rheinlust by Melanie Berg, has a lace pattern that could not look more like the sea filled with waves, which also seems appropriate for out beach-themed yarn. And finally, for just one skein! The Light & Lacey Cascading Waves (!!) cowlette by Stacey Wilkinson could not be any more nautical if it tried.

So there you. And I'll stop talking because this has gotten too long as it is. Three batches available. Yarn will ship next week.
