Note from Sundara...
I thought I'd return from my creative rehabilitation to a week of Daily Dreams inspired by flowers. My main motivation for this is that I really, really, really need a distraction from the day to day chaos that is the world we live in. From fears of losing my health insurance to North Korea's nuclear capabilities, I not only need a break, I need something beautiful to remind me that there is lots of good and beauty in the world.
So for my first flower inspired color of the week, I found the lotus to be most inspirational. For those of you who don't know how lotus grow, they basically live in the muck at the bottom of a pond or lake and from that muck, they rise up and bloom into one of the most stunning flowers I've seen. It's an apt metaphor for how I hope to live my life right now and I hope you'll enjoy this bit of beauty and maybe get a bit of this yarn to inspire you to "Rise Up".
ARAN MERINO is 246 yards and 100 grams of 100% super wash merino.
It knits up delightfully at 4.5-5 stitches per inch on US 7-8/4.5-5mm needles.
Gently hand was in tepid water for project longevity.
