Note from Sundara...We are continuing our trip down memory lane or A.K.A. "Sundara finds colors she thought she had lost forever but had actually written down and saved like a good little yarn dyer" with one of my favorites from, again, years and years ago, Reverberations. Look at it! Isn't it glorious?
I'm fairly sure I dyed this on like sport or something and so this, being lace silky merino, is way more variegated than the original, and hence, even more interesting. It's got everything from turquoise to forest green to indigo to dark navy blue tinged with almost purple. And then about 8,000 colors in between. Some of you have complained that you want these colors on yarn that isn't lace weight and I had to tell you that only lace weight takes colors this way (sad face), so I will tell all of you what I told them: hold the yarn double if you want to knit with this color. It will become fingering weight and actually way more interesting this way. And it's like the plushest, most squishy way to knit yarn. So don't let the lace gauge hold you back.
"Reverberations" will not be dyed again because I'm very nearly out of one of the dyes required to dye this color and I hadn't planned on buying more of that particular dye. Two batches available. Yarn will ship next week.
