Note from Sundara...This was supposed to be yesterday's Daily Dream and a repeat of the lace silky mohair's color that everyone wanted more of. But as you can see, things didn't go as planned. I forgot to turn the heat on to two of my dye pots, so everything got delayed by a day and not writing down how I dye yarn came back to bite me in the a@@ and I accidentally dyed Hills of Mist instead of Mist in the Valley. Oops.
But you know what? Hills of Mist makes a lovely sweater. Here's what I said about it the first time I dyed it...
This feels a bit like a cup of chamomile tea. It's soothing and comforting. The colors are distinctly blue, green, and fawn brown, mixed with foggy cream, calm colors without being too soft or blend-y. If that makes any sense. It's a color that would look very sophisticated as a cardigan with a creamy silky top. Or you know, for those of us who wear our PJs 95% of the time, cough*me*cough, a sweater to wear with pajama pants. Whichever pair happens to be clean.
So now you have another chance at one of those glorious sweaters. Just three batches available.
