Note from Sundara...Long time followers of the Daily Dreams might have noticed that I'm always a fan of a literary reference and the true literary nerds amongst us will recognize this name as a title of a Flannery O'Connor short story that you might have been forced to read in an English class at some point. I've thought this the most poetic phrasing of words since I was eighteen, so going on several decades now and I've been waiting for just the right Daily Dream inspiration photo to use it for. This one seemed like it was the embodiment of Everything that Rises Must Converge.
Like the short story, this color is deceptively simple and the subtle shifts amongst the navies, indigos and grey-greens will only make themselves known as you knit along and see the color changes as they weave their way through your knitting. And while the short story ends in tragedy, I'll recite positive knitting incantations over the dye pots so your knitting does not.
