Creamsicle

Note from Sundara...Somehow it's mid-November and the holidays are coming up. I'm not sure how that happened. But that means holiday knitting is also upon us and I figured we could all use some quick-knit yarn options, so I thought I'd try out the super chunky merino that my mlll spins.It's a "chain-spun" yarn, which is really lovely, actually, as it seems quite stable, as yarn goes. But the real genius of this is that it allows the yarn to have a super chunky gauge with a chunky yardage. So you get more bang for your buck. And we all love that.

I had no idea how this would dye up––chunky is always a different beast––so I just futzed around to see what happened. I have three colors in what will hopefully satisfy almost everyone and all your super chunky knitting needs. Super chunky is never very popular as a yarn base, so I may only dye this up once or twice more this year before the holidays and then that will be it until next year. So if you are needing super chunky, this is your chance.
