Note from Sundara...So this color is super popular, and while I said the mill was out of fingering merino and I couldn't dye any more in this color, I did happen to have some I was holding for a special project. But I decided that project could wait so you all could have more Always Agave. But now I'm really out. ☹️

As I said last time, I needed a palette cleanse from all the bright colors I've dyed recently, and I saw this agave photo and thought that cacti seemed appropriate neutral-toned hot weather inspiration. This is one of those "is it grey or is it teal?" colors I'm so fond of and the teal is more of a "is it teal or is it green or is it aqua?" Which I love even more. You have to take this yarn out into natural light to see it in its true beauty, cause there is a lot going on for a neutral.

What to knit? If you want to knit something like the pattern sample, Veera's "Waiting for Rain" shawl is also a lovely grey (2 skeins). As a bonus, it has lots of garter and a few, fun snitches of lace. "Cumulus Top" by PetiteKnit is a great summer cami that would be great in a neutral and could then go year round underneath just about anything. Or! Pair it with another color. It's a neutral it will go great with so many things. Anything blue, green, turquoise, or teal would be smashing, but orange would be a huge pop of amazing-ness. Someone pointed out the "Tiristeach" stripey cardigan to me over the weekend, so you might consider that...
