Note from Sundara...So I've obviously been obsessed with abalone and iridescent colors as of late. Mainly iridescent colors on non-shiny yarn. But I haven't yet dyed anything up in fingering merino, which is my most popular yarn base, as it can be used for pretty much anything. But we can't skip a velvet iridescent in fingering merino, so today is the day.
It's pretty glorious. All the best of all the previous tries rolled into one. It's creamy soft gorgeousness. It doesn't shimmer because obviously it can't, but it's still got all those shimmery colors layered together in a distinctly abalone way. I love it. I hope you'll love it, too.
