This amazing pattern, "Saltwater" designed by Heidi Kirrmaier just for Sundara Yarn was inspired by the color Sundara created just for Heidi, "The Great Pacific".
Heidi used the images evoked by "The Great Pacific" to create a pattern involving orderly, repeating elements, much like the formation of salt crystals.
The "Saltwater" shawl is also reminiscent of all things nautical, like sail clothes and sailor stripes.
