Robin's Nest and Spring Sparrow

Sometime in February, after months of early morning silence, birds start to sing. It marks their arrival back north after the spending the winter in a warmer climate and, for me, I know that we have started the march towards Spring and that I have made it through another long, dark winter. Our two colors for this month are inspired by these spring birds and their songs.

Robin's Nestis a delightful robin's egg blue mixed with a color that is hard to categorize.  It is brown-red that, when combined with the turquoise of the robin's egg, creates an unusual and sophisticated grey. The color is highly variegated, so find your favorite pattern that best shows off a multicolor yarn.

Spring Sparrow is an exquisite neutral solid that falls somewhere on the spectrum between brown and grey. It coordinates flawlessly with "Robin's Nest" and if you are looking for two colors to combine in one project, this is the perfect pair. Or, if you have any pattern with cables, lace or something complex, this color will serve as a lovely foundation to show off your stitch work. It is a color that goes with almost everything.
